Colombian police to train Afghans in counter-narcotics

Article Abstract:

A Colombian police team visited Afghanistan in late July 2006 to finalize plans to train Afghan law enforcement personnel in counter-narcotics with an aim on cracking down on trafficking through Kabul International airport. Local police officers would be trained to collect evidence from seized labs to charge high-value targets, rather than to destroy laboratories.
