Why EFSS shouldn't be a one-trick pony

Article Abstract:

The 120mm mortar and 105mm howitzer are compared and it is found that 105 mm howitzer is efficient, lethal, cost-effective and far superior to 120mm mortar that is used for the Marine Corps expeditionary fire support system (EFSS) quandary. It is observed that the 105mm howitzer meets all the requirements for the Marine Corps EFSS better than other weapons.
