Council assistance is critical for Cadet Corps programs

Article Abstract:

Naval Leagues Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) and Navy league Cadet Corps (NLLC) which are approaching their 45th year, face many of the same challenges such as rising cost, accessibility restrictions to facilities and training areas, and a growing difficulty with recruiting young adults faced by the sea services themselves. The assistance from Navy Leaguers is thus essential to help ensure that the NSCC and NLCC can provide the services, training and opportunities, which is their mission.

Contra Costa's 50th anniversary highlights council history

Article Abstract:

The Contra Costa Council at California celebrated the 50th anniversary of its charter into the Navy League that gave members, friends and visitors a chance to relive some of the council's history and trace back to the post-World War II era. The council put on display photographs, various historical materials including a coy of the charter and documents that were collected from members.

Navy league ushers in new era at SAS 2006

Article Abstract:

New touches were added for the Navy League's 2006 Sea-Air-Space (SAS) Exposition to provide for a more informative and inclusive experience. National President John A. Panneton, thanked members of the Navy League national staff for their innovation and hard work to make the 2006 SAS an outstanding success.
