Denel rationalises Losvoor programme

Article Abstract:

Denel Land Systems is concentrating on its long-range 155 mm artillery development efforts on ordnance systems by using 23-litre chamber volumes, consistent with the Joint Ballistics Memorandum of Understanding (JBMOU). The company is pursuing both standardization-oriented howitzer developments and range-oriented solutions based on a unique South African standard devised by Denel under its Losvoor technology base programme.

Boeing hedges against JSF delays with stealthier Super Hornet

Article Abstract:

A Boeing Phantom Works team is working on the design of a stealthier version of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, known internally as the Block 3. The design is being studied as a hedge against further delays with the Lockheed Martin F-35C Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), which has already delayed by a year.
