An appellate court case assignment algorithmn

Article Abstract:

The priority and speed at which court cases are heard is a matter of concern to those on all sides of the system. There can be public criticism if court hearings take too long to be heard. A system has been designed whereby cases are put into panels to be tried by a team of three judges. The cases should all be heard within a month, assigned by length of waiting time and type of offence.

The uncontrolled growth of plants in the abandoned canals and waterways of Shertallai, Kerala fostered the growth of mosquitoes that carry filariasis. A program to control these water weeds through the encouragement of fingerling fish farming has produced excellent results.
