Development of the armament policy in Europe

Article Abstract:

The strengthening of the European Security and Defense Policy (ESDP) will be a revolutionary process through an effective Armaments Policy and a robust Defense Technological Industrial Base (DTIB). An effective European industrial base and as Efficient European armament structure will provide most effective contribution to the enhancement of the European Security and Defense Dimension, as it is open to transatlantic cooperation and meets all requirements in support of both the Alliance and the ESDP.

Malaysia's national defense policy

Article Abstract:

Malaysia's national defence policy outlines three main aspects that are the national strategic interests, the defence principles, and the concept of defence. The defense policy emphasizes the need to maintain a stable and peaceful area of national strategic interest environment and hence Malaysia will always endeavor to increase and develop the capability of the Malaysian Air Force (MAF) in addition to encouraging defence awareness and spirit of patriotism among the citizens.

Enhancing maritime security cooperation

Article Abstract:

Maritime safety and security has remained as one of the key security challenges faced by Southeast Asia and the Straits of Malacca faces a multitude of threats as it is one of the busiest sea lanes in the world. Various measures taken by Malaysia to reduce threats across the maritime domains are described.
