NATO after enlargement: The way ahead

Article Abstract:

The Cold War ended on NATO's terms with the accession to NATO for member states from the former Warsaw Pact, the development of a constructive relationship with Russia and Ukraine and the participation of the Balkans, Europe has become a unified continent. A difficult and painful chapter in history is truly brought to a good end which could not been achieved without NATO and the constructive role of the United States.

Defence planning - Separating fact from fiction

Article Abstract:

The different strategies considered by the US and its allies to curb and de-nuclearise Iran are discussed. An additional teaming of US and allied defence contractors for equipment production is required so that more allied forces can have right equipment for troop commonality and coalition communications.
