Article Abstract:

It is suggested that keeping uniformity in dress and maintaining arbitrary legislative doesn't tend to affect joint-cooperation. If every man in armed forces maintain capability to protect the nation or to help in progress of the nation then even uniformity might not be there but the goals are achieved.

For a transformed Army, agility means victory

Article Abstract:

A US Third Army maneuver, designed by General Lesley J. McNair, was primarily responsible for the American victory at the World War II Battle of the Bulge. The Army has gone through transformations since, but an effort should be made to maintain the agility this maneuver called for.

Magic wands won't replace adequate forces

Article Abstract:

Subduing armed enemies is a military function and it does not end until those enemies quit. One has to acknowledge that in war there are no magic wands and either curbing the strategic ambitions or rebuilding the force structure is needed to pursue the Army successfully.
