Driven to print: Milbloggers find refuge - and preservation - in books

Article Abstract:

Military blogs often have short life spans as invaluable sources of military history disappear on the Internet, but a growing number of milblogs are converted to books. Reviews of some such books are presented, which include Colby Bruzzell's 'My War: Killing Time in Iraq', Jason Hartley's 'Just Another Soldier', and Matthew Burden's 'The Blog of War - Frontline Dispatches from Military Bloggers in Iraq and Afghanistan', and the Pentagon's Defense Science Board is planning to assess the impact of milblogging.
