Enhanced accuracy for CALCM

Article Abstract:

Boeing has received a $5.53 million development and production contract from the US Air Force to upgrade the AGM-86 CALCM (Conventional Air Launched Cruise Missiles) to the new Block IA configuration. The upgrade will provide the USAF's existing inventory of conventional-warhead CALCMs with precision strike capability. The capability will be embodied by a retrofit kit that will include an eight-channel GPS receiver and an adaptive anntenna array for precision delivery with a high level of anti-jamming immunity.
