Eurofighter Typhoon scores first export success outside Europe with Saudi deal

Article Abstract:

Eurofighter Typhoon has struck its first export deal outside Europe with Saudi Arabia. Experts from Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) stated that the details of the deal would be announced in March 2006 but the reports suggest that the deal would involve a staged acquisition of aircraft and capabilities, including a complete support package and the buy-back of aircraft in the RSAF inventory.

Flanker for India and beyond: A modern fighter case study

Article Abstract:

Russia's advanced Flanker family has advanced rapidly from its Su-27 ancestor by completing delivery of the last batch of Su-30MKI multirole fighters, which were ordered by India. The Indian Military expressed its interest in the Su-27 Flanker in 1991 and since then the Indian contract is carried out in several stages.
