European ministers discuss pooling of R&T funds

Article Abstract:

EU defence ministers met the European Defence Agency (EDA) to outline a detailed programme of joint research-and-technology (R&T) Investment with an associated budget provided by a union of contributors. The discussions had helped to establish a framework for identifying the most important objectives and the right funding mechanisms and ensured that the EU spent more on defence R&T, with an emphasis on co-operation and efficiency.
