Flagging a transforming Army

Article Abstract:

Future U.S. Army organizations would be more modular, standardized, responsive and deployable, thereby increasing the number of combat forces available to combatant commanders, and the mission would be to destroy the enemy. With the transformation of the Army, the colors and flags that symbolize the warrior ethos, values and traditions become more important.

Company command: Building combat-ready teams: Company-level IPB

Article Abstract:

Several company commanders across the Army who are refining their intelligence preparation of the battlefield (IPB) process by turning to each other through the CC forum discuss their crucial and evolving skill set. Some of the peers include Matthew Benigni, Paul Stanton, Bryan Carroll, Ted Stokes, Stacey Lee and Art La Flamme.

U.S. Army Forces Command- freedom's guardian: Providing trained, relevant and ready forces

Article Abstract:

Forces Command (FORSCOM) team is responsible in providing well trained forces in the war against terrorism. The mission of FORSCOM is to provide combatant commanders with trained and ready forces to fight the war and facilitate the requisite changes to make a better Army for future.
