Force planning for today

Article Abstract:

The issues relating to an offensive or defensive campaign to win the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and against terror, and the National Military Strategy are discussed. The Army system that responds to the requirement of meeting demands of offensive warfare is force development, a plan that extends the existing force into the future, adapting new equipment, new doctrine and new organizations into the force.

Front&Center: Family satisfaction

Article Abstract:

Job satisfaction and family satisfaction are the two important things for the success of the Army. The Army has made improvement in the pay scale, housing facilities, children's education and reward to personnel's so as to improve the family satisfactions.

Expending the force III

Article Abstract:

The pros and cons of privatizing and contracting out functions now performed by military and civilian labor are discussed. This will help the combat forces with retrained mechanics using the techniques used in MPRI.
