Industrial focus: Dunedin backs WFEL management buyout

Dunedin Capital Partners has led the management buyout of WFEL Ltd., a world leader in designing and manufacturing of mobile bridging systems and related products. Dunedin backed the management team in a transaction worth pound sterling 48 million by providing pound sterling 21 million of equity for a majority stake, alongside a debt package of pound sterling 27.5 million provided by other companies.

The future of the Turkish defence industry

Murad Bayar, the Undersecretary for Defence Industry (SSM) in the Turkish Government, expresses his views on the ongoing studies for the restructuring of the Turkish Defence Industry (SSY) project. He reports that industry is also expected to provide considerable contributions in terms of technology and production through the workshares undertaken within the framework of the partnership.
