"Serious problems" reported with new Australian SSKs

Article Abstract:

The Royal Australian Navy's (RAN's) new Collins-class diesel-electric submarines have design problems involving the acoustic signature of the submarines, according to deputy head of the Navy Read Adm. Chris Oxenbould. A leaked US Navy report alleged that the Collins-class SKKs could not be risked in combat because of its very loud flow noise and they have inferior construction and useless combat system software.
