Island disputes re-emerge

Article Abstract:

The disputes between Spain and Morocco over islands that cause a major break in the diplomatic relations of the two countries are examined. The two main types of island disputes are those relating to sovereignty over islands themselves, their land territories and related maritime space, and those concerned with the role of particular insular features in the delimitation of maritime boundaries.

Iraqi intelligence agencies faces uphill struggle

Article Abstract:

The problems reducing the effectiveness of the newly created Iraqi intelligence agencies is leading towards lack of credible intelligence. GSD, an Iraqi security agency is expected to have a system in place by January 2005, which would have a complete nationwide database on insurgents, foreign jihadists and criminals.
