Jordanian upgunned MBT demonstrated to M60 operators in the region

Article Abstract:

The Jordanian military is demonstrating its AB9B1 project improved M60 tank to other M60 operators in the region. It is offered at three levels. Level 1 is the addition of the Raytheon Intergrated Fire Control System. Level 2 is the addition of the RUAG Land Systems 120mm smoothbore cannon. Level 3 would add a variety of defensive countermeasures from a variety of companies.

Hippo amphibious RV trials begin

The Hagglunds Hippo Armoured Recovery Vehicle is being trialed by the UK Royal Marines who have a Future Beach Armoured Recovery programme.

CUV's Helikite system opens eyes in sky

Article Abstract:

Carolina Unmanned Vehicles has introduced the Lightweight Aerostat System, which is a visual surveillance system based on Helikites that carry camera payloads to act as aerial camera platforms for urban operations in the detection of improvised explosive devices. Helikites are used in military operations like Helikite Enabled Robotic Object (HERO) that provide an airborne communication relay allowing the operation of ground vehicles at long range, and are employed as surrogate satellites or ground-air communications links.
