Kockums begins work on Landsort minehunter modernization

Article Abstract:

The Swedish shipbuilder Kockums has started working on the two-stage upgrade of five of the Royal Swedish Navy's (RSwN's) Landsort-class mine countermeasures vessels (MCMVs) at its Kariskrona shipyard. The initial phase of the modernization involves three MCMVs, HMS Kosterm, HMS Vinga, and HMS Ulvon, modified to enable their participation in the Swedish international rapid reaction force.

Abu Dhabi Ship Building completes first TNC 45 combat system upgrade

Article Abstract:

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has completed the combat system modernization on the first of six TNC 45 Ban Yas-class fast attack craft that is being upgraded for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Naval Forces. The upgrade program includes the introduction of a new combat management system (CMS), enhancements to the surveillance radar and an improved electronic support measures (ESM) suite.

VT Group wins Trinidad and Tobago offshore patrol vessel contract
