Litton and the Irish Navy

Article Abstract:

Litton Marine Systems has supplied its Isis 2500 engine monitoring system to the Irish Navy. The machinery monitoring and assessment system, which will be installed aboard a fisheries protection ship for its twin Wartisla propulsion engines, will provide alarm and condition assessment data from 500 distinct channels that are connected to the ship's systems. The vessel will be assigned to patrol duty between the Republic of Ireland and the EU zone.

Karcher serves the drinks

Article Abstract:

Karcher supplied the WTC 1600 water purification system used by the Australian Unamet troops in East Timor. The device was specified for the unit, who were previously supplied with bottled drinking water, when logistics for the soldiers' drinking needs became inadequate. Water from Karcher's WTC 1600 device, which works via the principle of reverse osmosis, was able to meet the requirements of Qstag 245, Nato Stanag 2885 and Nato Stanag 2136.
