Local lift

Article Abstract:

Air Mobility Command has adopted theater airlift. this is the second year of the relationship of the two divisions. Theater lift assets will actually modernize ahead of schedule. The Air Staff recently approved a long-term plan for consistent improvement. Thsi move should keep theater lift strong for years to come. The theater lift is cominated by the C-130 Hercules Brig, Gen. Duncan J. McNabb, commander of AMC's Tanker Airlift Control Center at Scott AFB, IL, said that the relationship is working out very well.

ISR miracles, at a reasonable price

Article Abstract:

The US Air Force (USAF) is updating many of its old intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) models and is planning to replace them with more sophisticated models at reasonable price. The Predator, AWACS, Joint STARS and Rivet Joint aircrafts are believed capable of lasting into the 2020s, by which time new technologies might replace them.
