Article Abstract:

The withdrawal of the First Marine Division from the Chosin Reservoir, during the early stages of the Korean War, is described. The withdrawal was accomplished efficiently and swiftly, despite a large number of Chinese troops in the area.

Article Abstract:

The withdrawal of one company of Marines from the Chosin Reservoir, during the early stages of the Korean War, is described. The withdrawal was completed, depite difficult terrain, sub-zero weather, and a large number of Chinese troops.

One was enough; the tank provided fire as the infantry assaulted the dug-in enemy

Article Abstract:

Military action against waves of fresh Chinese troops, during the Korean War, is described. The Chinese troops were dug in along the route, but the infantry, led by a single D-23 tank, successfully overcame them.
