Armament co-operation: the BWB's experience

Germany's chief procurement partners are France, Netherlands, Italy, UK and the US, comprising 45% of the value of all its military R&D. A history of its cooperation methods is provided.

The President of Germany's Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement discusses the impact of a new organization plan for the military. Seven pilot projects have tried the "Customer Product Management 2001" procedure. Specific examples of the system in use are presented.
