Article Abstract:

The US Air Force, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) are conducting research and development programs for a manned and unmanned hypersonic aerial vehicle that will replace the current B-2 bombers. The space agency is studying the complexities of hypersonic flights while DARPA is engaged in hypersonic missile research. & dark deep

Article Abstract:

US Air Force's CV-22 is its version of the new Osprey tilt-rotor, a new type of aircraft that is neither pure helicopter nor pure airplane, but feautures characteristics of both aircraft. With one refueling, the CV-22 could self-deploy and fly 2,100 nautical miles on its own and does not require disassembly and containment into a huge cargo aircraft for overseas deployment. Carrying 18 troops, the aircraft is capable of flying from a forward staging area or a ship over 500 nautical miles in distance.
