NATO study on an all electric warship

Article Abstract:

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has authorized the conduct of a number of studies to determine the feasibility of adapting an Integrated Full Electric Propulsion system for its warships. The project is being undertaken by the NATO Naval Group 6/Sub Group 4. The group is responsible for all doctrines and concepts involved in electric power generation, distribution, control and use in submarines and other naval ships.

Article Abstract:

The Croatian Republic Navy was founded on September 12, 1991, two days later the Croatian flag was hoisted for the first time on a battleship and 27 combat vessels were captured in the 'Repair Shipyard' of Sibenic. Croatian Shipbuilding industry ranks high in the world scale of merchant and naval vessels building.
