NATO uses web portal to drive counterterrorism technology

Article Abstract:

NATO's Counterterrorism (CT) Technology Development Programme (NCTDP) initiated a webportal in August 2006 to boost the creation of counter terrorism technology by distinguishing upcoming technologies in order to strengthen the alliance's Defence Against Terrorism (DAT) research-and-technology programme. It is being considered as a process that has built partnerships as countries and technology proposer's publicized through the use of exhibitions and the Riga summit.

Give & take: The outlook for US-Japan defense industrial cooperation

Article Abstract:

The Japanese defense industry accepted collaboration with the US companies on a more equal basis as the US companies shared huge contracts such as F-35 and Joint Strike Fighter. In the area of technology and production, this idea maximizes the three values of autonomy, diffusion and nurturance.
