Nammo aims to qualify tw0 40mm grenades

Article Abstract:

Nammo AS (Rauloss, Norway) would complete the qualification process of two new 40x53mm nose-fuzed munitions for automatic grenade launcher (AGL)-type infantry support weapons during 2006. Both types are designed to meet specific US military requirements and the first to achieve US qualification, by July 2006, would be the prefragmented, preprogrammable high explosive (PPHE) airburst munitions (ABM) that have already received the US military designation of Mk 285.

US Army requirement for medium tactical vehicles turns into developing family affair

Article Abstract:

The Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) produced by Stewart & Stevenson is the US Army's most reliable logistic platform, and hence the US has placed orders for 46,000 FMTV-family vehicles, the existing models of which provide higher Mean Miles Between Hardware Mission Failures (MMBHMF) and Operational Rates (OR) than expected. The company is also looking forward to expand the export of its FMTVs to the UK, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and Jordan.
