Article Abstract:

The developments in thermal imaging (TI) technology from European and Israeli manufacturers are described. Two important elements are taken into considerations when considering the developments in TI products, organizations that develop and manufacture the actual thermal detectors for use in the end product in the soldier's hands and the companies that create the products themselves.

US shows commitment to Aegis BMD with development award

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency has funded nearly one bn U.S. dollars to modify the BMD fleet with the installation of the new Aegis BMD Signal Processor (BSP). The upgrading of these vessels will transition them to the same standards as Aegis Open Architecture and thus enable the U.S. Navy to roll out a BMD capable Aegis fleet of destroyers and cruisers.

Elbit launches wide-FoV helmet mounted display for helicopters

The JedEyes HMD helmet-mounted display from Elbit for pilots flying sophisticated helicopters offers the widest field of view (FoV) developed. JedEyes is able to process and manipulate a variety of visual cues from digital maps and sensors.
