Israel airliners to add DIRCM

The Israel government requires airlines to use directed infrared countermeasures (DIRCM) capability, aside from the flare-based countermeasures systems. It also invested in the development of Multi-spectral Counter-MANPADS System or MUSIC manufactured by Electro-Optic ELOP Ltd.
