Nuclear fusion

Article Abstract:

The Indo-U.S. nuclear deal, signed in principle by Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and the U.S. President George W. Bush in July 2005, was ratified in December 2006, overturning thirty years of sanctions against India and giving access to U.S. civilian nuclear technology. The new strategic partnership not only recognizes India as a nuclear power but also represents open American acceptance and acknowledgment of India's ambition to be a great power in Asia.
