North Korea prepares for digital war

Article Abstract:

North Korea's approach to electronic warfare and its long-term investment in relevant infrastructure and training is examined. Several points to a number of principles that the North Korean armed forces believe will be critical for success during wartime Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic warfare (EW) and electronic intelligence warfare (EIW) operations are presented.

River crossing forces highlight North Korean military strength

Article Abstract:

The decisive point of North Korea's offensive strategy, in a future war on the Korean Peninsula, is swift penetration into the south. Crossing numerous river systems and protecting its lines of communications, is the critical element in the offensive strategy of the Korean Army.

Improving intelligence on North Korea

Article Abstract:

The assessments on North Korea rely more on outmoded and distorted sources of information despite the availability of open source materials. The most extreme version of the food thesis including the diversion of food aid to the North Korean military is examined.
