Article Abstract:

By other means

Article Abstract:

Insurgency in Iraq is a new phenomenon. The center of gravity of which is not its massed combat power, but instead its distributed forces used to attack US forces asymmetrically. Insurgencies should be defeated not by lightning focused actions, but instead by persistent and comprehensive actions.
