QinetiQ shows mid-course moves with GPS

Article Abstract:

A UK/US team led by QinetiQ successfully carried on a proof-of-principle demonstration in December 2005 of a cheap mid-course guidance system, which can be fitted both to legacy and new-production GPS-guided air-delivered weapons. 'Sensor-to-effect' programme is being run by QinetiQ on behalf of UK Ministry of Defence's Deep Target Attack Equipment Capability group since January 2005.

Nordic AGL programs progress

Article Abstract:

The technical requirements of the Nordic AGL (automatic grenade launcher) program are expected to be finalized in August 2004.The Nordic AGL program, that include activity where it can identify a replacement for the platoon-level high-velocity 40mm Mk19 crew-served AGL and can replace the low-velocity 40mm single-shot, underslung grenade launcher used within squads.
