Radical reform required in US intelligence community

Article Abstract:

A series of investments into US assessments of the threat from Iraq has led to growing pressure for a radical overhaul of the US intelligence community since the 11 September 2001 attacks. The changes that are proposed and the implications for the agencies are examined.

US reforms overlook threat from foreign intelligence

Article Abstract:

The USAEs intelligence community reform focuses on its counterterrorism function and ignores threats from foreign intelligence. The diversity of threats has forced the counterintelligence community to expand the targets it monitors and the operations it protects.
