Rhode & Schwarz: new radios on show

Article Abstract:

Rhode and Schwarz of Germany has been actively promoting its series 4400 radios, a line that has been specially developed for military uses. The communication devices, which include the M3TR and the M3SR, are designed to be interoperable with both NATO and non-NATO communication standards such as Saturn and Seos. Rhode and Schwarz' series 4400 radios, which offers added flexibility and cost savings, boast of a software technology platform that is claimed to be a worldwide technological leader.

From Heros to Taranis: The evolution of German C2 systems

Article Abstract:

The command, control and information system HEROS-2/1 Lot 2 developed by ESG Elektroniksystem-und Logistik-GmbH, is a C41 system used in several multinational corps and in Eurocorps' current NRF mission and TARANIS is a concept for a modular, tactical command and control system. Both are deployment systems that provide a link between sensors, command and control, and shooters.
