Russian naval material for South East Asia

Article Abstract:

The Russian defence contractors have exported almost U$3 billion of naval weapon systems in 2005 and the export volume is expected to remain intact in the near future due to high demand for naval materials in the international market. Rosoboronexport Corporation, Russia's state-owned exporter, the only Russian company entitled to export the entire scope of arms and military equipment, exports state-of-the-art systems already in service with or being developed for the Russian Navy.

Russian city located at the foot of the Ural mountain, Nizhny Tagil, is inextricably bound to the metal ore, its extraction and processing and exports its iron ore to various countries and prides in the fact that the Statue of Liberty was coated in copper from their city. More than 170 enterprises and organizations of the Russian military industrial complex are concentrated in the city providing 70% of all conventional arms and ammunition.

"Black sharks" in Chechnya: The history of the Ka-50/Ka-29 combat attack group

Article Abstract:

Russian media gave extensive coverage on 'Black Sharks' in Chechnya, while the national broadcasting channel issue footage showing few Ka-50 helicopters preparing for a combat mission at the end of 2000. The Russian Armed Forces would introduce new combat helicopters and would significantly increase the efficiency of combat operations.
