Russians go West for tank gun calibres

Article Abstract:

Russia has developed and tested at Artillery Plant No 9 located in Ekaterinburg, two 120 mm smoothbore tank guns capable of firing Western one-piece 120 mm ammunition. Artillery Plant No 9 also produces the 125 mm smoothbore 50 caliber low-recoil weapon, which is the main armament of the self-propelled light amphibious anti-tank gun developed for the Russian air assault divisions, while the 120 mm M-393 and M-395 are manufactured for the purpose of export.

Russians hone accuracy of MT-LB's guns

Article Abstract:

The Russian company Muromteplovoz is marketing the upgraded version of MT-LB multipurpose tracked armoured vehicle that is having a new externally mounted power-operated weapon station, armed with twin 23 mm cannon. The MT-LB was designed and built in Ukraine and the trails have shown that it has excellent cross-country mobility and its standard 350 mm wide tracks can be replaced by 565 mm wide tracks when operating in marginal terrain.

Koalitsiya-SV artillery system promises to surpass 2S19 with greater firepower

Article Abstract:

The Russian 152 mm self-propelled Koalitsiya -SV (Coalition) artillery system comprises of a turret from the current 2S19 system. But it is expected to offer greater firepower and range than the existing 2S19 system due to modifications in the tracked chassis.
