Saving the Galaxy

Article Abstract:

The Air force's C-5 Galaxy airlifter has high capability as well as some technical problems, hence Air Mobility Command (AMC) is planning a two-step upgrade to increase the capability of C-5. Article Abstract:

A Quadrennial Defense Review concept that threatened to dramatically restructure and weaken the Air Force seems to be beaten down. The JDAM, which is guided by signals from Global Positioning System satellites, is a direct outcome of Gulf War I.
