Article Abstract:

The development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other unmanned systems in the all-service Joint UAS Center of Excellence at Creech AFB, Nevada, are described. The Air Force and the Department of Defense (DOD) believe that all-service coordination is very essential for successful development of unmanned systems, but it seems to be absent as individual services have pursued their own programs largely in isolation.
