Police crack down on camorra's counterfeit goods trade

Article Abstract:

The Camorra organized crime group in Naples has found out that the counterfeit goods business is almost as lucrative as the drug trade and also involves considerably less risk. The organization's move into the illicit international trade and the recent police crackdowns on their counterfeit goods trade are reported.

Technological breakthrough leads police to new Red Brigades

The Italian government passed a new telecommunications law in December 2003, which led to the investigation of Red Brigades. A technological breakthrough enabled investigators to track the movements of the suspects.
