The European strategic communications market

Article Abstract:

Strategic communications represent a major transformation area in the road towards Network-Enabled Capabilities (NEC). As militaries across Europe are currently identifying the leading factors affecting their communication needs mainly through the requirement for increased amount of data and image transmission, SATCOM, the long-range radio are at the center of attention which offers a wide range of defense mobile or transportable satellite ground terminals upto Ka-band.

R3I communications for Network-centric operations

Article Abstract:

Communications have become the backbone of modern warfare and information superiority is the key to success. The US Airforce is looking for a Robust, Responsive, Reconfigurable and Invisible (R3I) capability for 21st century military communications, maintaining connectivity anywhere anytime, availability and mobility to operate over enormously expanded frequency range quickly and with stability in a universally orthogonal way, invisible to the enemy.
