The Iranian nuclear program: A status report

Article Abstract:

The International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Board of Governors met on 6-8 March 2006 and discussed the new report on Iran by Director General Mohammed ElBaradei, following which the report was sent to the UN Security Council for deliberation. On 29 March 2006, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted a statement calling on Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program and giving the IAEA 30 days to report back.

Pictures available on the internet reveal two Jin-class SSBN nuclear class submarines fitted with 12 missile tubes to be the latest addition to the naval fleet of The Chinese People's Liberation Army.
