The M7 Forward Repair System: a logistical breath of 'fresh' air

Article Abstract:

The Ordnance Corps of the US Army is pleased with its new M7 Forward Repair System which permits combat repair teams to go to the point of a vehicle breakdown. The equipment and capabilities of the M7 are discussed.

Army terrain vehicles

Article Abstract:

Military vehicles, namely M-Gator, Polaris, Prowler, and the LUMES, which operate in the harshest of the terrain conditions, are new additions to U.S. Army mobility inventory. The description of these vehicles, their technical specifications, and their special ability to move in almost all terrains are outlined.

Soldier Armed: Thermal weapon sight II

Article Abstract:

The Thermal Weapon Sight II (TWS II) award went equally to two contractors, DRS and BAE who were awarded base quantity and award options that total up to almost 30,000 systems over four to five years. The TWS II represents a leap ahead in multiple technologies over the existing TWS I designs.
