Article Abstract:

The change over in the belief that guided weapons could change the scenario of future wars by some generals and engineers in the military/industrial complex came as an outcome of the 1945 victory in the "great Patriotic war', which brought about change in the design of guided anti tank weapons (ATGWs). As a result wide variety of sophisticated Soviet/Russian ATGM designs were available like infantry/vehicle/helicopter ATGM, 9M14.
