Spotlight on Industry: The Boeing Company

Article Abstract:

The Boeing Co's VP and General Manager for US Navy and Marine Corps Programs Patrick J Finneran attributes the trend of industrial teaming in the design and development of new aircraft to two factors. First is the realization that teaming is the best way to create the best equipment at affordable prices. Second is the fact that there are not much military projects to go around. The public benefits from the teaming arrangements by getting the best products at the lowest possible costs.
