UK explores lease options for surface combatants

The U.K. Ministry of Defense (MoD) is examining proposals to acquire the next generation of U.K. Royal Navy (RN) surface combatants through a lease arrangement. The MoD held preliminary discussions with the VT Group to examine the feasibility of lease arrangements for three new classes odd surface combatants.
