U.S. Army Forces Command future

Article Abstract:

The US Army is looking forward to transformations to modulate force design, which would present opportunities for accelerated evolution in the force generation process. A model, dubbed the army force generation (ARFORGEN) is being developed which underpins the Army's fundamental change from a division-centric to a brigade combat team-centric system of force management.

News call: Iraq update

Article Abstract:

The major units of the US forces, which are to be deployed in Iraq, are announced by the Department of Defense. The various divisions of the forces will be deployed in Baghdad and will focus on training the Iraqi army to assume responsibility for the country's security.

The role of Army installations

Article Abstract:

The role of installations has significantly changed due to which now continuous support from the home station to foxhole and back would be provided. Modularity and transformation are the two significant factors that are driving the installation change.
