A troubadour's legacy: folk stars honor Stan Rogers in Nova Scotia

Article Abstract:

Stan Rogers was only 33 when he died in an airplane crash in 1983, but he influenced a generation of Canadian folk singers. More than 3000 people and 40 folk singers gathered in Canso, Nova Scotia on Jul 4, 1997, to honor Rogers and his music. Organizers hope it will become an annual event.
