Arresting claims

Article Abstract:

Federal Court documents have revealed how closed the Australian Federal Police worked with the Indonesian National Police in the April 17, 2005, Bali Nine arrests, and death penalty candidate Renae Lawrence. The documents are part of a Federal Court case, in which Australian-based lawyers are trying to convince the court to force the AFP to release all Bali Nine-related documents in order to prove the AFP acted illegally in tipping off the Bali Nine to the Indonesians.

The bone collector

Article Abstract:

Bradley John Murdoch is imprisoned for 28 years for the murder of Peter Falconio, who was dealing with drugs and whose body is still not found. Despite the tall claims of psychics, clairvoyants, diviners, pendulum swingers, where finding missing people is a huge business and their record on earthing missing people is appalling, insisted that they were able to see and speak to Falconio but the police are not able to find Falconio's body.

Heart of sharkness

Article Abstract:

Indonesian fishermen, primarily shark-fin hunters, who regularly stray in Australian waters will soon be remanded to custody and forcibly sent back to their country but without their boats. This is, some say, a welcome departure from the previous policy where these fishermen would be waiting in their boats for court appearances and will actually help the Australian exchequer save a lot of money in the bargain.
