Ottawa pledges airport rent review: Pearson reveals more rate increases

The transport Minister of Canada, reported that the rent that Ottawa charges airports would be reduced across the country. The total airport rent remitted to Ottawa is estimated to increase at a rate of Canadian $500 million every year.

U.S. President George Bush and Prime Minister Paul Martin are in process of deepening the North American relations, from economic to security ties. Mr. Martin and Mr. Bush released a statement on 31November 2004, after their Ottawa meeting that laid out a 23-point blueprint for deepening cooperation between Canada and the United States 'in North America and in the world'.
